Here Are A Few Kind Words From Our Past Guests:
This is a villa with an amazing view that is well-equipped for a fantastic vacation. The owners have taken great care to ensure that guests are taken care of from the moment they set foot on the property. We were captivated by the sheer beauty of Casa Tranquila upon our arrival. - Rose
One of the best family vacations we've ever taken. Our villa was absolutely breathtaking. It had its own private pool and looked exactly like it did on the website. To be honest, it was even more impressive in person. Andres was readily available if we needed anything for the duration of our stay and would always respond quickly! We also signed up for the chef service. I would highly recommend it. - Dave
Casa Tranquila, built in 1997, is a 3,750 square-foot private vacation home situated on a hillside - just a short walk to the sandy beach. Beautifully decorated and naturally relaxing, this home is appealing to the senses and inviting to the soul.
BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS
There is plenty of space for a large group of people to relax in comfort with five bedrooms. Four of these rooms are in the main house, split between the upper and lower level, while the fifth room is in a separate casita next to the house.
Each room is equipped with comfortable beddings, a ceiling fan, and thoughtful decorative accents.
The upper level of the villa has a room with a queen-sized bed and a private ensuite bathroom. A second upper-level bedroom features a double and single bed with access to a shared full bathroom across the hall.
The lower-level bedroom options are a master bedroom with a king-sized bed and large private bathroom, and a bedroom with a queen-sized bed.
All bathrooms are stocked with plush towels and the essentials you need for your stay.
The fifth bedroom is separate from the main home in the casita next door, perfect for those who crave extra privacy or lots of quiet time.
KITCHEN & LOUNGE
The bright and beautiful common space is perfect for spending quality time together at any time of the day. High ceilings and earthy tiled floors create a wonderful atmosphere to prepare meals in the spacious kitchen, stocked with all the appliances and utensils you need for your stay. Enjoy your meals in the dining room, which has space for 8 people, or take your meal outdoors to the huge patio for dinner with a view.
The living room is decorated in local Mexican style with a blue accent wall that compliments the ocean views from the window. A quaint fireplace and tasteful art create a cozy ambiance to enjoy while lounging on the comfortable couches.
OUTSIDE SPACE
Large sliding glass doors in the living room open up to a spacious Palapa Patio that offers a sweeping view of the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean. This gorgeous outdoor area invites you to soak in all the beauty, breathe in the fresh sea air, and revel in the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. While you lounge on the patio with a coffee or cocktail, you can admire the lush gardens surrounding the winding, stone steps leading to the door.
The heated swimming pool and hot tub are on the private lower patio, encouraging you to indulge in a relaxing dip while looking out at the ocean below. Feel like having a BBQ Fire up the provided grill and cook your favorites.

The Neighborhood
San Jos del Cabo is a resort city on the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula. It’s known for its sandy beaches and colonial buildings. The San Jos missionary church, rebuilt in 1940, faces Plaza Mijares in the heart of the historic district. Nearby art galleries exhibit work by local artists. East of the city is San Jos Estuary, a nature reserve with bird species like hummingbirds, ibis and herons.
